The heavy-duty range of Ravco continuous hinges have a high load carrying capacity of up to 230kgs and can be installed to wood, steel, aluminium and in some cases, glass (specs depending).
The Ravco continuous hinge uses full length bearing surface to minimise sideways deflection, whilst the 65mm (heavy duty) or 130mm (light duty) spaced polyacetal thrust bearings, each with high shear strength of 432kgs, give very low bearing wear and minimises vertical sag. The entire hinge assembly is integrated into one unit by the neat cover channel. Ravco’s load distribution can mean the difference between maintenance-free openings and the costly damage caused by concentrated stresses radiating from conventional butt hinges.
