Fabrication – Heavy
ARA Manufacture uses steel and other heavy metal materials to fabricate large structures such as containers or container like structures and indestructible transport solutions. qualified welders have completed large pre-fabricated structures to the stringent standards of Lloyds, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas (BV) and AMSA standards with non-destructive testing and use x-ray to verify weld integrity.
Fabrication – Light
ARA Manufacture also uses sheet metal to fabricate smaller or lighter structures such as stillages, cages, enclosures, ducting and flashing.

Water jet cutting
ARA Manufacture has superior water jet cutting expertise for almost any material up to 150mm thick with a bed size of 4000mm x 3000mm. Materials include steel, stainless steel, ballistic glass, bushfire and fire rated glass, plastic, wood, rubber and stone.
Laser cutting
ARA Manufacture has superior laser cutting expertise using two bystar, bylaser cutters for many materials including steel and stainless steel. Maximum material thickness is 16mm and sheets up to 4000mm x 2500mm.(bystar 4025 and bystar 3015).
Grit blasting
With class 3 surface preparation, ARA Manufacture is capable of grit blasting up to a 40-foot container or any other 15-metre-long structure.
Spray painting
ARA Manufacture has a complete on-site spraying facility that can spray up to a 40-foot container
with a comprehensive range of industrial coatings.
Powder coating
ARA Manufacture has a complete on-site powder coating capability with a comprehensive range of industrial coatings.
Welding
Our welders are capable of welding any material suitable for welding including steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
Glazing
ARA Manufacture’s team are expert glaziers of the most complex glass including all high-security glass including fire rated glass, blast resistant glass, ballistic rated glass, attack resistant glass, transport glass, and Schott – fire-rated glass processing.
Bonding
ARA Manufacture can bond almost any materials together using resins, epoxies and various adhesives depending on the application to bond materials together.
Surface preparation
We’re able to achieve a class 3 surface preparation on sizes up to a 40-foot container using our grit blasting booth.
Turret punch
ARA Manufacture’s auto-feed turret punch has an extensive range of tooling available to perform many different punches tailored to clients’ specific requirements. Capable of accepting sheets up to 1250mm wide, the turret punch’s auto-load and auto-unload feature allows mass punching with little labour content, reducing the sell cost and lead time to the client on large projects.
Folding
ARA Manufacture has several high-pressure presses capable of folding/bending steel and other foldable materials up to 20mm thick (we can go heavier on reduced widths) to almost any angle required depending on the thickness and material.
Hot dip galvanising
ARA Manufacture uses trusted industry contacts to provide hot dip galvanising.
Stainless steel fabrication
ARA Manufacture specialises in working with stainless steel. Our team can fabricate stainless steel into any shape or structure, particularly in the food and beverage industry where stainless steel is required.
Installation
ARA Manufacture specialises in easy-to-install products and systems but can offer clients an installation service if required using both our in-house installation team or network of trusted installers across Australia and abroad.
Plate rolling
ARA Manufacture’s plate rolling machine is capable of rolling sheets from light to heavy gauge steel.
Inserting
ARA Manufacture can also include inserting into our fabrication service for clients that require the ability to attach secondary equipment or finishes to the fabricated end product such as wiring cabinets.
Bespoke fabrication
In addition to ARA Manufacture’s heavy and light fabrication services, we also offer a bespoke fabrication service where we can make use of our laser cutter, water jet and other manufacturing processes to produce bespoke custom-designed objects such as stainless-steel trophies, plastic cut-outs for signage, laser-cut colourbond signs or even sword handles.
