ARA Manufacture’s Slimline roller shutter suits a variety of commercial uses and offer strength, durability and style.

The Slimline roller shutter is designed with security in mind. Featuring a large range of options, the Slimline shutter can be custom-made to your specifications.

Specifications	Curtain: Extruded aluminium slats with a face depth of 42 x 1.5mm Slimline. Nylon end clips shall be fitted to alternate slats to prevent lateral movement and provide smooth operation and long life performance, free from lubrication. Operation: All doors are counterbalanced per manual operation and motorisation is optional. This is recommended for wide and/or high openings. Locking: Two-way mortise key lock or sliding shoot bolt locking mounted within the bottom rail (for manual doors). Bottom Rail:70mm x 48mm extruded aluminium tee section incorporating locking device and optional PVC buffer. Side guide: 37mm x 25mm extruded aluminium channel incorporating optional Schlegel infill. Brackets: 90mm x 40mm mild steel. Roller drum: 100mm or 150mm spiral ducted tube attached to ball bearing drum wheels rotating on a 34mm steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.

FINISH	Available in powder-coated or anodised colours.

A minimum of 100mm should be allowed below the bundle for correct door operation.
