A quick look around the stunning end-of-trip facilities at 140 William Street in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD is a good place to start.
Our brief was to install a boutique locker system that would integrate perfectly with the change rooms and EOT facilities in this A-grade office building. The fitout included 391 lockers, a mixture of PL2 and P1 hanging lockers in a Charcoal laminate with contrasting multi-ply trim.
Each locker featured a Gantner smart card locking system, eliminating the need for any external handles, locks or fittings and preserving the sleek exterior of the installation. The Gantner locking system also integrated with the building’s base card systems. The bulkheads above each bank were designed to include a hinged flap, making them easily accessible for services and maintenance.
Custom features included brass coloured vinyl numbering, ottomans, towel and shoe storage behind mirrored doors and ironing board units.
For this fitout, our client wanted to see a prototype of the locker prior to the installation. We were happy to turn around the prototype production quickly and make minor client changes after viewing, ensuring the final product was exactly what our client wanted. The final result, as you can see, is a truly luxurious EOT facility.
