ISM Interiors built and installed a range of custom built joinery for the latest refurbishment at 485 La Trobe Street.
Bringing architect Gray Puksands vision to life, ISM created the lobby that features solid timber curved seating, an assortment of planter boxes a custom reception counter and matching wall panelling. In the common areas, ISM built an integrated vertical garden, curved seating and wall panelling. Through the ISM sub-brand, Lockin Lockers we delivered the end-of-trip area. That included custom built lockers, vanities, mirrors, towel storage and entry doors.
The solid timber curved seating is crafted to provide ergonomic comfort while adding a natural, organic element to the lobby’s design. The custom reception counter and matching wall panelling are designed with integrated lighting to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that aligns with the building’s modern aesthetic. The vertical garden in the common areas is not just a visual centerpiece but also serves as a sustainable feature, contributing to improved air quality and a more pleasant environment for occupants.
In the end-of-trip area, the lockers are equipped with smart locking systems for added security, while the vanities and towel storage are designed for easy maintenance and durability, ensuring that the space remains practical and efficient for daily use.
