As part of the ANZ Docklands development, designer Hassell envisioned a stair auditorium connecting the ground floor to its upper level. In order to achieve this result, each panel row was individually measured, processed and installed by ISM.
To realise Hassell’s vision, ISM undertook a highly detailed and precise approach to the fabrication and installation of the stair auditorium. Each panel row was individually measured to ensure a perfect fit within the complex geometry of the stairway. This bespoke approach required meticulous attention to detail during both the processing and installation phases, with each panel crafted to meet the exact specifications of the design. The use of high-quality materials, combined with ISM’s expert craftsmanship, resulted in a seamless and cohesive structure that enhances the visual impact of the space.
The stair auditorium is not just a functional element but also a design statement, with the individually tailored panels contributing to a sophisticated and cohesive aesthetic.
