One of the country’s most contemporary business precincts, the new Macquarie Park office development will service what’s fast becoming Sydney’s next big work-and-live suburb. We were awarded this project through ACG Fire and Security, one of our valued partners and suppliers of the LoQit locking system.
Utilising our Sydney based team for delivery and installation, the fit-out totaled 326 lockers in the building’s end-of-trip facility (EOT), split between male and female change rooms, cleaners facilities and DDA accessible locker rooms. Lockers are a mix of PS2 and P2 hanging models, all finished in Laminex ‘Fossil’. Locker banks feature attached Tasmanian oak slatted bench seating, plus customised accessible bulkheads housing all the technology (GPO, power and data) for the LoQit system. Additional custom joinery as part of the project included airing cupboards, ironing board units and towel storage units.
The LoQit system itself is an impressive combination of clever tech and minimalist style. Users unlock their locker via a smart card at terminals located within the full-length mirrors at the end of each bank. That allows the locker banks to form a clean, seamless and stylish space.
Smart tech and clean functional style make this a perfect EOT facility for what’s sure to become an in-demand office precinct.
