ABOUT US
ARA Manufacture has a long and proud history. While the ARA Group was established in 2001, ARA Manufacture’s foundations date back to 1977 when one of our founding companies Sealeck was first established.
Growing by acquiring successful businesses and focussing on safety, quality and risk management, ARA Manufacture now comprises more than 450 employees across the country who work together to provide the best Australian-made products and solutions.
1977Australian-owned door and window manufacturer Sealeck is established.
1982Formidable leader in commercial and industrial doors, Monarch Renlita is established.
2001The ARA Group is established. The ARA Group first acquires well-established Australian-owned company Sealeck in April and smaller manufacturer Ballistic Innovations in September.
2002The ARA Group acquires Monarch Renlita, but continues to run the successful business separately until 2013.
2013The ARA Group establishes the ARA Manufacture division. Sealeck and Monarch Renlita are consolidated into this new ARA Manufacture business division.
2013CBros High Security Products is purchased by ARA Manufacture and continues to operate in Ardeer, Victoria.
2016ARA Manufacture purchases Woodpend Hardware which had gone into administration and incorporates staff and business into Sealeck.
2019ARA Manufacture purchases Groundmaster Engineering (GME) to expand its metal fabrication capability. Leda Security is acquired to expand the range of physical products as Leda manufactures bollards, gates and commercial bike racks.
2019ARA Manufacture team from Ardeer in Victoria relocates to larger premises in Derrimut in Melbourne’s west.
2021ARA Manufacture purchases ACD – Australian Commercial Doors.
2022ARA Manufacture purchases BM Doors.

ARA Manufacture has a dedicated team of workplace health and safety professionals with many years of experience in multiple industry types. This team deals with all aspects of work health and safety, quality and environmental management throughout ARA Manufacture, and is always available to assist on all projects to ensure we deliver the highest safety standards.
The ARA Group acknowledges the connection of people, land and communities within the areas that we work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
